Furniture assembly in Birmingham

Some furniture needs to come apart before a move and be put back together at the destination. This is additional work, not an automatic part of transport. HS Group Global can review your assembly or dismantling request alongside the item list, with suitability and the exact work agreed before a booking is confirmed.

Your items. Your access. Your quote, agreed in writing.

The right information before the first fitting.

Send the make or model if known, dimensions, clear photos and any available assembly instructions. Say whether the item is new, already assembled or previously dismantled. Missing fittings, damage or wear can change what is practical. Identify which pieces need dismantling, which need reassembly, and whether any part is attached to a wall. Do not assume all furniture can be safely dismantled and rebuilt.

The assembly request also needs to fit the wider move plan. For a Birmingham flat, check stair turns, lift dimensions and the space available to work at the destination. An item that fits in a room may not fit through its entrance assembled. Share floor levels and loading restrictions, and ask whether the requested work can be included before relying on a move-day timetable.

Clear scope. No guesswork.

What can be agreed

  • Review of the particular furniture and the dismantling or assembly task you describe.

  • Only the suitable work specifically listed in the accepted written quote.

  • Coordination with the agreed move plan where the additional task is confirmed.

Not automatically included

A moving package does not automatically include assembly, dismantling, tools or replacement fittings. Repairs, renovation, building alterations, electrical work, installation and wall mounting are not offered by this page. Specialist handling or additional equipment is not assumed and must be reviewed separately.

Have these details ready. Attach relevant photos when you speak to the team on WhatsApp.

  1. Item make/model if known, dimensions, photos and assembly instructions.

  2. Whether each piece needs dismantling, assembly, reassembly or only transport.

  3. Any damage, missing fittings, wall attachments or previous dismantling.

  4. Both postcodes, floors, stairs/lifts, work space and the planned moving date.

Agree the task, then agree the extra cost.

There is no universal assembly price or completion time on this page. Ask for the assessed task and any additional charge to appear in your written moving quote. The related moving details help explain the transport scope, but transport does not add assembly automatically. All agreed work remains subject to item condition, access and availability; ask for any change to be reviewed before the work starts.

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Is assembly included with every furniture move?

No. Dismantling, assembly and reassembly must be reviewed for the specific item and expressly included in the written quote. Transport alone does not include that additional work.

Can you assemble every brand of flat-pack furniture?

No blanket brand or item acceptance is promised. Send the model, instructions, condition and fittings information so the team can decide whether your particular request is suitable before agreeing the work.

Can I book a repair or renovation here?

No. This page is for reviewing furniture assembly or dismantling requirements associated with a move. It is not an offer of furniture repairs, property renovation or general installation services.
